The "Mc Falls" letterbox is located in McKinney Falls State Park.
Named for McKinney Falls which is located in the park, and was named
after Thomas McKinney (one of Stephen F. Austin's original
colonist). The park also has the remains of McKinney's homestead
(1880's) and his trainer's cabin, as well as the Smith Visitor Center
and 4.5 miles of hiking trails.
Directions:
Located 13 miles southeast of the state capital in Austin. Hwy 183
south to Scenic Loop Road. Park is 2 miles west of Hwy 183 on Scenic
Loop. Enter the park, and drive to the Smith Visitor Center. Park
